CNERSIA

Overview
CNERSIA is a comprehensive, performance-driven ERP system. A major component of this project involved architecting a dedicated Point of Sale (POS) module from the ground up. This module was designed to be deeply interconnected with broader ERP operations, such as purchasing and inventory, while maintaining a lightning-fast, lightweight user experience.
Problems
Cashiers operating within complex ERP ecosystems often face operational bottlenecks due to slow interfaces and rigid workflows. There was a critical need for an adaptable system that eliminates checkout friction across different devices, supports heavy multitasking, and handles intricate membership and discount calculations without lag.
Goal
To engineer a highly intuitive, adaptive POS frontend that feels native on both tablets and desktop computers. The primary objective was to reduce cognitive load and facilitate seamless multitasking, allowing users to process complex transactions effortlessly in fast-paced retail environments.
Solution
A tailored, lightweight UI/UX was implemented directly into the Laravel architecture using Tailwind CSS and JavaScript. The resulting module introduces advanced capabilities like transaction drafting for multitasking, seamless Xendit payment gateway integration, and automated email receipts, all flawlessly synchronized with the ERP backend.
MY APPROACH
Discover
Analyzing fast-paced retail workflows to prioritize lightweight performance, cross-device usability, and seamless logical connections with purchasing and inventory modules.
Wireframe
Drafting adaptive layouts focused on maximizing visual clarity for item lists, ensuring large touch-friendly targets for tablets, and accommodating complex features like transaction drafts and discount modifiers.
Design System
Establishing a high-contrast, distraction-free visual language tailored for extended daily usage. Tailwind CSS was utilized to enforce UI consistency and guarantee rapid rendering speeds.
Development
Translating the designs into a highly performant interface utilizing Laravel Blade, PHP, and JavaScript. This phase included embedding the Xendit payment gateway and enabling automated email receipt dispatches.
Integration
Ensuring flawless synchronization between the custom Front-End and the overarching ERP logic, connecting the POS seamlessly to backend databases without compromising the lightweight design philosophy.
