SIAKANG

Overview
SiAkang is a specialized banking monitoring web application developed for an educational banking institution. Due to the sensitive nature of financial data visualization and system tracking, the project demanded rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure absolute accuracy and operational stability before deployment.
Problems
Banking platforms inherently require a zero-tolerance policy for data discrepancies. Initial development phases exhibited vulnerabilities in role-based access control (RBAC), unstable metrics rendering, and frequent feature regressions that compromised the integrity of the monitoring dashboard.
Goal
To establish a robust, error-free monitoring environment. The primary objective was to guarantee data integrity, validate secure user workflows, and ensure the platform could handle complex educational banking scenarios flawlessly under varied conditions.
Solution
A comprehensive QA methodology was formulated and executed. By implementing systematic end-to-end scenario testing, isolating edge cases, and conducting strict regression protocols, critical defects were uncovered and resolved rapidly in collaboration with the engineering team.
MY APPROACH
Requirement Analysis
Deconstructing complex banking monitoring workflows and mapping out critical data points to establish a rigorous and targeted testing framework.
Test Planning
Designing comprehensive test cases covering role-based access controls, financial calculation accuracy, and unexpected edge-case scenarios.
Execution & Logging
Conducting systematic cross-device testing, logging defects with precise replication steps, and isolating performance bottlenecks within the dashboard.
Regression Testing
Verifying developer patches through stringent regression protocols to ensure that new code updates did not compromise existing stable features.
Final Validation
Executing pre-deployment sign-offs and simulating real-world concurrent usage to guarantee a flawless, secure launch for the institution.
